Well made razor

Received promptly. A very well made, well balanced razor. It's not aggressive but gave a nice shave.

An excellent razor

I’m really pleased with this excellent razor which gives an extremely smooth shave. It’s well made, looks great and has a very good handle shape for a good grip.

Need more practice

Very good quality razor that feels good in the hand. First shave didn’t go too well & dented my confidence somewhat. So, syptic pencil at the ready I’ll have another go.

Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate the feedback.

The transition to safety razor shaving can take a little practice, but we're convinced once the skill is acheived, there's no looking back. In fact, shaving with a safety razor can actively reduce irritation, comparied with multi-blade cartridges.

Some tips to help you along the way, if we may: Shave with the direction of hair growth and not against the grain. Aim for a 30 degree angle to your skin - you will feel the point intuitively when the razor makes light contact. Dont' apply pressure, our razor has the right density to do the work; with a sharp fresh blade on your side, you'll be in good shape. Finally, make short and slightly overlapping strokes as you gain confidence.

Brilliant Razor

I have been using these types of razors for a number of years. Sadly I spent most of my shaving time unscrewing the blade to clean it and then having to re-shave. The muck & brass razor is brilliant, the blade guides through and needs one quick rinse to remove the hair. Also, so far, no shaving spots.
